McDonald’s introduces Bacon Smokehouse Burger, remodels CdA store

Guests can self-order at the newly remodeled McDonald’s in Coeur d’Alene.

The McDonald’s at 208 W. Appleway Ave. joins more than 2,600 McDonald’s restaurants worldwide in the new design, which features digital self-order kiosks.

The kiosks allow guests to browse the menu as well as order and pay. Food is then delivered to tables by McDonald’s crew members.

And, in other McDonald’s news, the fast-food chain has a new Bacon Smokehouse Burger.

The new burger is part of the McDonald’s Signature Crafted sandwich lineup. It features fresh beef patties, apple wood-smoked bacon, sweet and smoky bacon-onion sauce, crispy fried onion strings, white cheddar cheese and a mild sweet mustard sauce.

The quarter-pound burger is served on a toasted artisan roll. It’s also available with the brand’s Buttermilk Crispy Chicken or Artisan Grilled Chicken.

The Bacon Smokehouse Burger will be available at participating McDonald’s restaurants in the contiguous U.S. beginning in early July.

McDonald’s has about 14,000 restaurants in the U.S. and serves more than 25 million customers daily worldwide.
