Walmart will hold a ceremony at 7:30 a.m. Friday to mark completion of a remodeling project at its store at 3050 E. Mullan Ave. in Post Falls.

Free cupcakes will be given away while supplies last.

The remodel expanded the Walmart’s hardware and clothing departments, updated the electronics department and added a consultation room in the pharmacy.

Later in July, the store will start offering online pickup for up to 40,000 online grocery items, including diapers and dog food. Customers can place an order on their smart phone, park at the store and employees will load the groceries into their car.
