LAS VEGAS – Five former Gonzaga standouts were named to the West Coast Conference Decade in the Desert all-tournament team this week.

Last year’s starters Przemek Karnowski (2012-2017) and Nigel Williams-Goss (2016-2017), Kelly Olynyk (2009-2013), Domantas Sabonis (2014-2016) and Kyle Wiltjer (2014-2016) made up nearly half of team.

Wiltjer, who led the Zags with 20.4 points per game in his final season, was named the all-decade team’s Most Valuable Player.

All five were named to the all-conference first team in their final seasons at Gonzaga. Karnowski and Wiltjer received the honor twice.

The five ex-Zags were joined by Jared Brownridge of Santa Clara, BYU’s Kyle Collinsworth and Tyler Haws, Matthew Dellavedova and Mickey McConnell of Saint Mary’s and Loyola Marymount’s Anthony Ireland.
