An armed man robbed an Exxon gas station on Wednesday night, according to the Spokane Police Department.
Around 6:30 p.m., the suspect walked into the gas station on North Freya Street and West Alki Avenue and demanded money while displaying a gun to clerks, police said.
Police said the suspect proceeded to grab items from behind the counter and fled the store on foot. He was not found by authorities.
Officers set up a perimeter and used a K9 team and Air 1 helicopter unit, but had not made an arrrest as 9 p.m. Tuesday night. Several of the suspect’s items were found at gas station, police.
There were no injuries in the robbery, police said.
