Erin go bragh all week at O’Doherty’s Irish Grille in downtown Spokane

Irish Week runs through Saturday at O’Doherty’s Irish Grille in downtown Spokane.

Wednesday, get $2 off Butte pasties and enjoy a free Irish dance lesson at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, at 6 p.m., there’s a limerick contest followed by a screening of the 1952 film “The Quiet Man” starring John Wayne. There’s $2 off all Irish whiskey during the movie. Friday, there’s a dollar off fish and chips, $2.50 green beer and, from 8 p.m. to midnight, live Irish music from Broken Whistle.

Festivities culminate on St. Patrick’s Day on Saturday, when doors open at 9 a.m. and there’s a $5 cover all day. Bagpipe performances, Irish sing-a-longs and giveaways will take place throughout the day. Green beer and Guinness will be available all day, too. There’s live Irish music from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. followed by DJ Greg McGuire from 7 p.m. to midnight.
