Virtual home tour company merges, expands Spokane presence

Home Debut, the Spokane company that invented the virtual home tours used by the real estate industry, has merged with another business.

Collabra Technology Inc. is the name of the new company, which will employ 44 people at its headquarters in the Fernwell office building, 505 W. Riverside Ave., Suite 300.

Home Debut was started by former Spokane residents Anne Sperling and Stacy Morse about 20 years ago and operated under the name TourFactory LLC. Sperling co-created and holds the patent for the virtual home tours technology. She will be Collabra’s chief visionary officer. Morse, who works in the Seattle area, is a shareholder in the company.

The company merged last week with Proxio Inc., of Santa Clara, California. Collabra will employ about 60 people worldwide, with employees in Brazil, Colombia and India as well as Spokane.

“Both TourFactory and Proxio are innovators of technology platforms supporting the multibillion-dollar real estate industry,” said Janet Case, who co-founded Proxio and is Collabra’s new CEO.

Collabra will continue to work with clients in the real estate industry, including Coldwell Banker Global Luxury and Lennar International, Case said.

But Collabra also anticipates accomplishing “for other industries what our companies have done for real estate,” she said. The company will be marketing its digital platform to other industries who need to connect their sales teams with clients worldwide, Case said.
