An alert sent to families of Mary Walker School District students warned of school closure Thursday, while some early reports noted the possibility of a shooting threat.

KXLY reporter Drew Reeves said the TV station had received messages from viewers showing a social media post that referenced threats of a Thursday shooting at Mary Walker.

Mary Walker School District is located in Springdale, Washington.
