Boys soccer roundup: Keagan McMurray scores twice to lead Mt. Spokane over Rogers

Mt. Spokane 3, Rogers 2: Keagan McMurray scored twice, including the difference-maker in the 57th minute, and the Wildcats (4-3, 1-1) outlasted the visiting Pirates (0-5, 0-2) on Friday. Kinkade McMurray added a marker in the 49th minute.

Lewis and Clark 9, Shadle Park 0: Jared Mehaffey scored two goals and added three assists and the Tigers (5-1-1, 1-1) coasted past the Highlanders (2-4, 0-2) at Hart Field. William Hoefer had a pair of goals and two helpers.

Ferris 2, Mead 1: Leo Cox scored the go-ahead goal in the 74th minute and the visiting Saxons (4-0-1, 2-0) beat the Panthers (0-5-2, 0-2). Gafishi Gasabato tallied for Ferris in the 34th minute.

North Central 1, University 0: Francis Neff scored the game’s only goal in the 41st minute assisted by Aidan Chaparro and the Indians (4-2, 2-0) edged the Titans (2-2-1, 1-1) at Albi Stadium.

Gonzaga Prep 1, Central Valley 0: Isaiah Damschen made nine saves and the Bullpups (6-0, 2-0) topped the Bears (2-3-1, 1-1) in a shootout at Merkel Sports Complex. Mitchel Torre, Luke Denke and Jacob Bach all scored in the shootout for G-Prep.
