The Dirt: Spokane Valley warehouse under construction by Garco

A 112,000-square-foot warehouse is being built in the Spokane Valley near the Spokane Business and Industrial Park on Sullivan Road.

The project, 15909 E. Marietta, is called the SDS Valley Facility and will be built on what are currently three separate parcels. Plans show seven bays with 31 recessed dock doors. The facility will have a total of 175 parking spaces.

Construction is expected to begin in June and be complete January 2019.

County records show the land was purchased in November 2017 for $5.5 million by S&L Sullivan LLC, which is governed by Steve Schmautz. Schmautz owns SDS Realty.

Spokane-based Garco Construction is the project’s architect and general contractor.
