Motorcyclist hit by two vehicles after crashing on I-90 near Sprague Avenue

A motorcyclist was struck Tuesday by two vehicles on Interstate 90 following a crash near a Sprague Avenue on-ramp.

According to the Washington State Patrol, Clinton P. Heindl was entering the freeway on the westbound Sprague Avenue on-ramp when he reportedly struck a barrier and was ejected onto the westbound lanes near mile post 285.

Heindl, 42, was then stuck by a Subaru Forester and Volkswagen Jetta. He was transported to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center with unknown injuries.

Heindl, of Reardan, was riding a 2013 Ducati Superbike. WSP said the crash was caused by speeding and remains under investigation.
