Pilot OK after small plane crashes on Interstate 90 near Lookout Pass

From staff reports

A small, single-passenger airplane made a hard landing Tuesday on Interstate 90 near the Idaho and Montana state line, according to the Montana State Highway Patrol.

The pilot reportedly walked away with minor injuries after landing his experimental aircraft near Lookout Pass. No other information was released, and the type of plane wasn’t identified.

The Montana Department of Transit reported the eastbound I-90 lanes near the pass were blocked by the plane, but traffic was directed through the median.
