Ruins debuts special menu for new Taco Tuesday night

Ruins has added another themed dinner night to its weekly line-up.

Tony Brown’s North Monroe Street eatery, one of Spokane’s most innovative and ever-changing restaurants, is now offering Taco Tuesday nights with $2 Modelos and three tacos for $8. Choose from al pastor, pescado, carnitas, beef, portobello and fried chicken.

Look, also, for a $10 tostada with cabbage and shrimp and $7 esquites with chipotle, cilantro and cheese.

The special menu is served from 5 to 10 p.m. Tuesdays. The first one took place May 22.

It joins a special ramen menu, available from 5 to 10 p.m. Sundays, and McRuins night, which runs from 5 to 10 p.m. Mondays and serves Ruins’ take classic fast-food burgers.

Ruins, opened in 2014, features sandwiches for lunch and themed dinner menus Wednesday through Saturday. Those themed dinner menu change frequently and have recently included Southern specialties as well as an Italian-inspired pasta menu. Middle Eastern cuisine is next in line.
