Sweet Frostings celebrates grand opening of new shop near Whitworth University

Sweet Frostings is celebrating the grand opening of its newest boutique bakery.

The grand-opening event runs from 8 a.m to 8 p.m. Saturday and features drawings, giveaways and prizes.

The new bake shop is located near the Whitworth University campus at 10406 N. Division St. It replaces the bakery’s former Wandermere location.

In addition to cupcakes and other assorted baked goods, the new Whitworth location features an espresso bar and a full deli menu. Throughout the day Saturday, the whimsical bake shop will hold drawings for free cupcakes and cakes. Plus, it’s offering free gifts with purchases.

The bakery has four locations in Spokane, including the newly opened location near the Whitworth University campus.
