EWU women’s basketball team wins exhibition game against Simon Fraser

Violet Kapri Morrow was 12-of-24 from the floor and scored 27 points while grabbing 12 rebounds to lead Eastern Washington women’s basketball team to a 72-66 exhibition victory over Simon Fraser in Cheney on Sunday.

The Eagles trailed 35-26 at halftime after shooting 29 percent but improved to 59 percent in the second half.

Uriah Howard and Alissa Sealby scored 11 points each for EWU.
