Wood stove vent pipe ignites combustables, home

A house fire in the North Indian Trail neighborhood Tuesday resulted from of combustibles being too close to a wood stove vent pipe, according a Spokane Fire Department news release.

No one was injured in the blaze, which was quickly extinguished.

Responders were called to the house on the 9600 block of North Seminole Driveat about 10 a.m., according to the release. The roof was extensively damaged.
