College volleyball: No. 20 Washington State outlasts 19th-ranked Washington to complete Pac-12 Conference season

Taylor Mims and McKenna Woodford combined for 37 kills Saturday and 20th-ranked Washington State (21-9, 12-8) completed its Pac-12 Conference season with a 25-14, 16-25, 25-21, 18-25, 15-10 win over 19th-ranked Washington (18-12, 10-10) in Pullman.

Claire Martin, Ella Lajos and Mims combined for 17 blocks for the Cougars, who lost to the Huskies in five sets on Sept. 20.

The fifth set was tied at 4 when the Cougars took charge with a 6-1 run.

Ashley Brown added 47 assists and Alexis Dirige 25 digs for the Cougars.

Kara Bajema led the Huskies with 20 kills.

Both teams will find out Sunday if they’re selected for the NCAA Tournament.

Northern Arizona 3, Idaho 0: Kaylie Jorgenson finished with 15 kills and 16 digs as the top-seeded Lumberjacks (26-8) swept the second-seeded Vandals (23-10) in the Big Sky Conference Championship title match in Greeley, Colorado.

Aubrea Bandfield and Abby Stomp combined for 39 assists for NAU, which earned the conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.

Sarah Sharp (12) was the lone Vandals player with double figures for kills.

Haylee Mathis added 33 assists and 11 digs for the Vandals, who shared the conference title with NAU.

NAU hit .287 for the match while the Vandals hit .153.
