GSL girls: Aspyn Adams leads Mt. Spokane rout of Moses Lake in season opener

Mt. Spokane 78, Moses Lake 34: Returning all-league guard Aspyn Adams scored 23 points on seven 3-pointers and the Wildcats routed the visiting Chiefs. Sophomore Niveya Henley added 18 points for Mt. Spokane. The Wildcats raced out to a 27-7 lead after the first and went on a 21-5 run in the third quarter.

Gonzaga Prep 63, Coeur d’Alene 38: Lakin Gardner scored 22 points with six rebounds and the Bullpups downed the visiting Vikings. Faith Pinney added 12 points for the Pups.

Ferris 58, Shadle Park 36: Laney Erickson scored 10 points, Bailey Warnica added nine points, and the Saxons downed the Highlanders. Izzy Boring paced Shadle with 18 points.

North Central 64, Pullman 26: Quincy McDeid scored 18 points, including three three-pointers, and the Indians defeated the visiting Greyhounds. Adria Blocker added 13 points for North Central.

Cheney 75, Rogers 8: Maggie Smith and Emma Evans scored 16 points apiece and the Blackhawks routed the visiting Pirates.
