Spokane’s local gear shop will help you make the transition from resort skiing to backcountry shredding.

Mountain Gear is hosting an evening with SCARPA & G3 Genuine Guide Gear to delve into the equipment required to transition from inbounds skiing and into the backcountry.

The event will be on Oct. 10 starting at 7 p.m. The evening will not cover avalanche safety or backcountry travel, instead focusing on the gear needed. Participants will get a free G3 ski strap.

The event is free and refreshments will be provided.
