Workshop helps people submit comments on proposed Newport smelter

Opponents of a proposed silicon smelter in Newport are hosting a Wednesday evening, Oct. 17 workshop at Gonzaga University to help members of the public submit comments.

The workshop runs from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Moot Courtroom, 721 N. Cincinnati St.

Responsible Growth * NE Washington and GU Legal Assistance are hosting the event.
