The band’s Facebook page says it all: “The story continues.”

Years after taking over MTV airwaves with “Round and Round” and after numerous lineup changes and a hiatus or two, heavy metal act Ratt are still going strong, albeit with yet another new lineup.

Ratt now features founding member and lead vocalist Stephen Pearcy and longtime bassist/backing vocalist Juan Croucier joined by guitarist/backing vocalist Jordan Ziff, guitarist Chris Sanders and drummer Pete Holmes.

“(The original band) was a great band, but I guarantee that the new breed of Ratt that we put on stage every night will be in your face, energized and fully engaged,” Pearcy said in a statement. “Simply put, the band our fans deserve.”

The band is working on new music to be released in 2019 as well as a worldwide tour to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the band’s debut album “Out of the Cellar.”

In the meantime, Ratt will headline the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel on Oct. 25.

“Naturally, we are excited for the future of Ratt,” Croucier said. “Our long-term goals are still the same: give the Ratt fans the highest quality shows possible – period. The evolution of the band has had many twists and turns. We are looking to the future, and to the many good times ahead. We are moving forward with the new breed of Ratt.”
