Prep volleyball: Lake City advances to Idaho 5A State semifinals with two wins

Lake City advanced to the Idaho 5A State Tournament semifinals after two five set wins on Friday at Ridgevue HS in Nampa, Idaho.

The Timberwolves triumphed over Rocky Mountain (22-25, 19-25, 25-20, 25-22, 15-11) in the early game before taking out Timberline (25-19, 22-25, 25-19, 18-25, 15-10) in the quarterfinals.

Lake City plays Madison on Saturday at 10 a.m. at Ridgevue HS.
