Vote Lucas, from someone who knows

As Dave Lucas’ mother, I would like to share why I (obviously) think he is perfect to represent Spokane as state representative, District 3, Position 2.

Dave became involved in the Boy Scouts early on and embraced the program, earning merit badges and achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. He has lived the Scout pledge.

While in high school, Dave encouraged his friends to interact with challenged students to help them to do better. He said, “We may be an inspiration to them to help them succeed.”

Some of Dave’s high school friends, also Scouts, attended UC Davis, California with him. Dave suggested they take their Scouting uniforms to campus in case the local Scout troop might need help for events.

Throughout his military career, Dave has proven to be an exceptional representative of the United States Marines. When meeting his co-workers, almost universally, they would tell me how appreciative they were of Dave’s perspective and work ethic.

All in all, Dave has been a worker, an achiever and a role model for his peers throughout his life.
