First snow on Mount Spokane, 2 inches at Schweitzer Mountain Resort

Mount Spokane got a dusting of snow overnight and 2 inches of the white stuff fell at Schweitzer Mountain Resort in Idaho.

The Mt. Spokane Ski Patrol Facebook page posted a photo. It’s just a dusting. And weather forecasts for this winter are calling for a milder winter due to El Nino.

Still, that didn’t stop one eager Facebook commenter from writing “Let’s go snowboardng on Saturday.”

Soon enough.

And, it’s still snowing, he said.
