Poke Express expands

UPDATED: Thu., Sept. 6, 2018, 5:29 p.m.

Poke Express has opened a second location.

The new shop opened in late August in Spokane Valley and specializes in Hawaiian-style poke bowls. It follows a South Hill location, which opened in May.

At both, customers can build their own poke bowls or choose from several pre-set combinations. Poke bowls feature raw fish marinated in soy sauce and sesame oil and tossed with sesame seeds and seaweed and more.

The Poke Express stores also have a sister location which specializes in Thai-style rolled ice cream sundaes. Customers can build their own rolled ice cream sundaes at Yummy Ice Cream Rolls, which opened mid-March in the Logan Square shopping center near Gonzaga University.

The newest Poke Express is at 1509 N. Pines Road in Spokane Valley. The first Poke Express is at 905 S. Grand Blvd. On the web:

Yummy’s is at 1601 N. Division St. On the web:
