Girls soccer roundup: Gracie Day’s second-half goal the difference for Ferris

Gracie Day scored the lone goal in the 49th-minute and Ferris (2-2-0) defeated Cheney (1-2-0) 1-0 on Saturday in nonleague plau.

Seattle Prep 3, Gonzaga Prep 1: Jocelyn Stephens found the goal first and visiting Seattle Prep defeated Gonzaga Prep (1-2-1).

Puyallup 4, Mead 1: Sydney Evans scored a pair of goals and the Vikings (3-0) defeated the visiting Panthers (3-2). Rachel Bennewis scored the Panther’s lone goal.

Moses Lake 7, Post Falls 0: Natalie Bunch found the net twice and the visiting Chiefs (1-1) shut out the Trojans (2-3).
