Leave food stamps alone

It is my understanding that Congress is considering eliminating the Food Stamp provisions segment of the Farm Bill which was passed a few years ago. Are they aware that the people who have children, the sick, the elderly, the disabled, those on unemployment, or who have been laid off through no fault of their own are the ones who will be affected by this action?

The children will not be able to concentrate on their lessons, the sick will not be able to afford their medications, the disabled will not have the proper nutrition to become able to work again or learn another job, and the unemployed will be unable to seek a productive job. They will be forced to make the decision of who goes to bed hungry, and who goes to school hungry, and whose performance at work will suffer because of improper nutrition.

Please leave Food Stamp provisions intact. It will make a stronger population and a more productive one in the long run.
