Get ready to Greek out

Guests are invited to dine in, take out and, of course, Greek out at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church’s 83rd annual Greek Dinner Festival.

Classic dishes such as beef kapama, orzo, souvlakia and baklava are on the menu at the fest, a community staple since 1935.

Tickets, or “Opa cards,” are on sale now. They are $15 in advance or $18 at the door for adults and $8 for children age 11 and younger in advance or $10 at the door.

Community members are invited to celebrate Greek culture through savory dishes and authentic pastries, music, dancing and an assortment of Greek imports and gift items.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. September 27 to 29 at the church, 1703 N. Washington St.

Pastries will be available daily during the event from 11 a.m. Lunch will be served daily during the event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. And dinner will be available from 4:30 to 8 p.m. daily during the event.
