Who’s really at fault?

In Mr. Perrin’s trying to shame Cathy McMorris Rodgers and the “GOP dirt machine” (“CMR doesn’t care,” Sept. 15, 2018), he has in essence shown us that for the last 14 years we have had wide income disparity, skyrocketing prescription drug costs, increasing rates of poverty and homelessness, reduced ability to afford medical insurance, more frequent and deadly mass shootings, refugees fleeing war and persecution and vilification of anyone not agreeing with you. Perrin says CMR has an “I don’t care” attitude. Can one congresswoman really be held responsible for all of this?

Out of the 14 years Trump so far has had two years and Obama had eight of those years! Who might really be responsible? Thanks for reminding us all what Obama did to our country! The great one (Obama) made us seem weak and foolish to the whole world.

President Trump is restoring our pride and dignity. Oh, and by the way - if you’ve ever been lied about and that lie stood as truth, then I’m sure your righteous indignation is kicking in for President Trump.
