Because of inclement weather, Chaconne Klaverenga’s Friends of the Guitar Hour concert, originally scheduled for Friday, has been moved to April 26.

The concert will still take place at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural Center in Post Falls. Tickets are $30 through Brown Paper Tickets or $38 at the door.

Klaverenga has entered, and won, international competitions since she was 14.

In 2017, she graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music with her master’s in music degree in classical guitar performance.

“Her name came up from three different sources,” classical guitarist and “Guitar Hour” radio host Leon Atkinson, who organizes the series, told the Spokesman in November. “ ‘Oh you have to hear this woman play. She’s really amazing.’

“Chaconne is phenomenal. I really like her playing a lot.”

Klaverenga currently lives and teaches guitar and ukulele lessons in New York.
