Prep boys soccer: Theo Baiye sets school record with 54 career goals; Clarkston tops West Valley

Clarkston 13, West Valley 1: Theo Baiye scored five goals, setting a new school record of 54 career goals, and the Bantams (3-2-0-0) ran past the visiting Eagles (0-5-1-0) on Thursday. Steve Baiye added three goals and Seth Brown had three goals with four assists for Clarkston.

Cheney 3, Pullman 0: Noah Schorzman opened the scoring in the sixth minute and the visiting Blackhawks (5-0-1-0) beat the Greyhounds (4-1-0-1). Trae Babcock made four saves to preserve a clean sheet.

Northeast A

Lakeside 9, Deer Park 1: Jeffrey Friedman and Lukas Ousley scored two goals apiece and the visiting Eagles (9-0-0-0) beat the Stags (4-4-0-0).

Medical Lake 3, Riverside 2: James Pivonka scored a free kick goal early in the second half and the Cardinals (1-3-0-1) held off the visiting Rams (3-4-1-1).

Colville 6, Northwest Christian 1: Josh Pinkham scored a goal and added an assist to lead the visiting Indians (7-2-0-1) past the Crusaders (0-8-0-0) on Thursday.
