Somebody needs you: Household items, doors requested

From staff reports

The goal of Somebody Needs You is to match donors with the specific requests of needy Spokane residents.

The list of requests is coordinated by the Volunteers of America in cooperation with recognized social service agencies in Spokane. If you have an item to donate, please contact the social service agency directly. Donors who can deliver items are especially appreciated. If someone you know needs help, contact a local social service agency provider.

Family with two young children are in need of a microwave, TV, laundry soap, side tables, cleaning supplies, silverware, plates, cups, cooking items and garbage bags. Please contact Andrew Hayan, case manager for Volunteers of America - Crosswalk, at (509) 838-6596.

Senior woman transitioning from homelessness into an RV camper seeks doors that are 26 inches wide by 65.5 inches tall that will accommodate her MS wheelchair. Please contact Meagan Johnson of Aging and Long Term Care at (509) 458-2509.
