We’ll miss you, Bud

With Bud Nameck retiring as program director for KXLY radio, I wanted to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for his three decades of service to our community.

I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to Bud over the years and found him to be a trustworthy source for local news – that rare mix of excellence, integrity and appropriate humor. His love for Spokane came through in the enthusiasm he brought to the morning show day after day.

Bud has also been a good friend to nonprofit organizations by highlighting our work in the community and sharing his air time with many of us. Best wishes in retirement, Bud! We’re going to miss you!
