Boys basketball: Austin Jones leads Garfield-Palouse over Oakesdale to clinch Southeast 1B title

Southeast 1B

Austin Jones made back to back 3-pointers in the last minute to lead the visiting Vikings (13-7, 11-1) over the Nighthawks (13-7, 10-2) to clinch the Southeast 1B league title on Saturday.

Blake Jones led Garfield-Palouse with 16 points and Austin Jones finished with 12. Keiron Anderson scored 12 points to lead Oakesdale.

Touchet 58, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 54: Omar Martinez scored 19 points and the visiting Indians (2-10, 1-10) defeated the Eagles (2-18, 1-11). Jaden Danielson and Ty Harder led St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse with 12 points apiece.

Idaho

Lewiston 76, Lakeland 75: Donaven Santana scored 30 points, Kyle Van Boyen added 12 and the Bengals (8-10) beat the visiting Hawks (6-10) in double overtime in a nonleague game. Ben Zubaly led Lakeland with 20 points and Josiah Halland added 13 points with 12 rebounds.

Moscow 71, Sandpoint 46: Gabe Quinnett scored 32 points with four steals and the Bears (14-3, 4-0) beat the visiting Bulldogs (7-9, 0-3). Ryan Roos led Sandpoint with 16 points.

Non-league

Odessa 66, Wilbur-Creston 43: Ryan Moffet scored 30 points with five assists and the visiting Tigers (18-1) beat the Wildcats (6-12). Kasen Bodeau led Wilbur-Creston with 16 points. Tim DeWulf added 12 points with 10 rebounds for Odessa.
