Police searching for man who stabbed woman at north Spokane Albertsons

A woman in her 70s was stabbed in north Spokane, and police are searching for the suspect.

The woman was sent to a hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, according to a Spokane Police Department news release.

The stabbing happened at about 10 p.m. Wednesday at Albertsons, 6520 N. Nevada St.

The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 45 and 60. He has a thin-to-medium build and is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall. He was driving a “Subaru-style” wagon, according to the news release.

Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233 and reference case No. 2019-20023071.
