Girls basketball: Jordan Rabe paces No. 9 Northwest Christian over Chewelah

District 7 2B

Northwest Christian 48, Chewelah 22: Jordan Rabe scored 17 points, Ellie Sander added 15 and the No. 8-ranked Crusaders (19-4) eliminated the Cougars (12-12) in a District 7 1B loser out at Deer Park HS on Thursday.

Northwest Christian advances to play Davenport in a loser-out on Friday.

Bailey Smith led Chewelah with 14 points.

Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 40, Reardan 24: Dakota Killian scored 21 points and the Broncos (12-11) eliminated the Indians (11-12) in a loser-out.

LRS advances to face Colfax in a loser-out on Friday.

Madalyn Dewey led Reardan with seven points.

District 9 1B

Colton 46, Pomeroy 36: Jordyn Moehrle scored 13 points, Dakota Patchen added 10 and the Wildcats (20-2) beat the Pirates (19-3) in the district championship game at Colfax HS.

Colton, ranked No. 2 in state 1B behind Pomeroy entering play, has qualified for the state tournament every season since 2007 with nine title in 12 years.

Maddy Dixon led Pomeroy with 12 points. The Pirates play in the district second-place game on Friday against Oakesdale.

Oakesdale 63, St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 36: Julie Baljo scored 26 points, Logan Reed added 19 and the No. 9-ranked Nighthawks (17-5) eliminated the Eagles (10-12) in a District 9 1B second-place game at Colfax HS on Thursday.

Oakesdale plays in a loser-out on Friday.

Riley Lamb led SJEL with nine points.
