Violet Kapri Morrow powers Eagles at Northern Colorado

GREELEY, Colo. – Violet Kapri Morrow hit 4 of 6 3-pointers, scored a game-high 29 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds Thursday night, powering the Eastern Washington women past Northern Colorado 76-72 in a Big Sky contest.

Alissa Sealby added 14 points, Grace Kirscher 13 for the Eagles (7-15, 6-7 Big Sky), who outscored the Bears 16-12 in the fourth quarter. EWU hosts Idaho Monday at 2:05 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 4:15.

Savannah Smith scored 26 points and Alexis Chapman and Krysta Leger-Walker added 13 apiece for Northern Colorado (15-8, 10-4).
