Girls basketball: Davenport to face Colfax in 2B district third-place game

District 7 2B

Davenport 58, Northwest Christian 51: Darby Soliday and Janaye Wilkie scored 17 points apiece, Sydney Zeiler added 12 and the No. 7-ranked Gorillas (19-4) defeated the No. 8 Crusaders (19-5) in a loser-out at West Valley.

Davenport faces Colfax in the district third-place game on Saturday for a berth to state.

Jordan Rabe led Northwest Christian with 19 points and Natalie Smith added 14.

Colfax 55, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 27: Asher Cai scored 16 points, Koerstyn York added 13 and the Bulldogs (14-10) defeated the Broncos (12-12) in a loser-out game.

Linnea Schafer led LRS with 10 points.

District 9 1B

Pomeroy 53, Oakesdale 42: Emma Severs scored 27 points, including three 3-pointers in the third quarter, and the No. 2-ranked Pirates (18-3) eliminated the No. 9 Nighthawks (17-6) in the District 9 1B second-place game at Colfax HS to earn a berth to state.

Logan Reed had 13 points and LouEllen Reed added 11 for Oakesdale.
