Girls basketball: Emma Evans scores 24 points to lead Cheney over East Valley

Great Northern

Emma Evans scored 24 points and Aijia Loffredi added 15 points and visiting Cheney (6-9, 2-5) beat East Valley (14-2, 6-2) 58-52 on Friday. Genesis Wilkinson scored 11 points, while Brie Holecek and Faith Adams added 10 points apiece for the Knights.

West Valley 69, Pullman 30: Jillian Taylor scored 19 points and the visiting Eagles (10-5, 5-3) defeated the Greyhounds (4-11, 0-7). Peyton Teevens led Pullman with eight points. Nevaeh Sherwood scored 18 points and Hailey Marlow added 10 points for West Valley.

Northeast A

Medical Lake 62, Colville 26: Jessica Lohman scored 16 points and Emma Maxwell added 14 points and the visiting Cardinals (11-5, 7-1) beat the Indians (9-7, 5-3). Andi Brown led Colville with 11 points.

Deer Park 54, Riverside 33: Havelah Fairbanks scored 15 points and the Stags (12-4, 5-3) defeated the Rams (4-11, 0-7). Brittney Nortz scored 18 points for Riverside.

Lakeside (WA) 50, Newport 38: Maiya Martinez scored 12 points and the Eagles (5-11, 3-5) beat the visiting Grizzlies (2-12, 1-7). Alika Robinson led Newport with 10 points.

Northeast B

Davenport 65, Chewelah 23: Darby Soliday scored 17 points and the visiting Gorillas (12-2, 4-1) defeated the Cougars (9-6, 2-3). Kennedy Robison and Alyssa Fitzgerald led Chewelah with eight points apiece. Sydney Zeiler scored 12 points, Janaye Wilkie scored 11 points and Lainy Jacobsen added 10 points for Davenport.

Colfax 61, Asotin 52: Shyah Antoine had 17 points with 10 rebounds and the Bulldogs (9-6, 5-1) outlasted the visiting Panthers (1-13, 1-5). Asher Cai added 13 points and Taylre Sakamoto-Howell 12 points for Colfax. Adrienne Washington led Asotin with 20 points and eight rebounds; Kinzie Miller added 11 points and Karlie Koch scored 10 points.

Liberty 66, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague 34: Kendyl Fletcher scored 14 points and the Lancers (13-2, 5-1) defeated the Broncos (6-9, 3-3).

Northwest Christian 60, St. George’s 45: Natalie Smith scored 19 points, Ellie Sander scored 15 and Jordan Rabe added 14 points and the Crusaders (13-2, 6-0) beat the visiting Dragons (7-8, 3-3). Lydia Berquist led St. George’s with 16 points.

Reardan 68,Tekoa-Rosalia 19: Kimberly Dewey scored 30 points and the Indians (7-7, 4-1) defeated the Timberwolves (1-14, 1-9).

Kettle Falls 56, Wilbur-Creston 22: Mya Edwards scored 21 points and the visiting Bulldogs (9-7, 2-4) beat the Wildcats (4-8, 0-6). Callie Haden led Willbur-Creston with seven points.

Wellpinit 68, Columbia 19: Jada Orr scored 17 points and the visiting Redskins (12-4, 7-3) defeated the Lions (2-10, 2-7). Lachelle Boyd added 11 points for Wellpinit.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline 64, Odessa 30: Gabi Isaak scored a game high 23 points to lead the Warriors (12-1, 9-0) over the visiting Tigers (3-11, 3-7). Sarah Bradshaw added 14 points for Almira/Coulee-Hartline.

Northport 35, Curlew 33: Kylie Corcoran scored 10 points and the Mustangs (7-9, 5-7) defeated the Cougars (9-6, 7-5). Korin Baker scored 16 points to lead Curlew.

Inchelium 71, Republic 11: Rylee Desautel scored 21 points and the Hornets (10-5, 7-3) beat the visiting Tigers (0-12, 0-10). Chenoa Erickson added 11 points for Inchelium.

Selkirk 47, Valley Christian 34: Jenna Couch scored 23 points and the Rangers (8-7, 7-3) beat the visiting Panthers (11-4, 7-3). Phoebe Trigsted led Valley Christian with 22 points.

Colton 60, Garfield-Palouse 12: Dakota Patchen scored 17 points and the Wildcats (12-2, 8-0) beat the visiting Vikings (9-7, 3-5).

Pomeroy 61, Oakesdale 40: Sydney Smith scored 15 points and the Pirates (12-1) defeated the Nighthawks (13-3). Emma Severs scored 11 points and Maddy Dixon scored 10 points for Pomeroy. Lizzy Perry scored 14 points and Logan Reed added 12 points for Oaksdale.

Lake City 54, Lewiston 50: Sarah Muehlhausen scored 11 points and Dejah Wilson and Brooklyn Rewers scored 10 points each and the Timberwolves (17-2, 5-0) defeated the Bengals (7-9, 1-4). Kendyll Kinzer scored 25 points to lead Lewiston.

Lakeland 49, Sandpoint 35: Katy Ryan scored 19 points with 15 rebounds and the Hawks (7-10, 2-0) beat the visiting Bulldogs (3-12, 1-1). Maddie Morgan led Sandpoint with 11 points.
