Slayer announces Nov. 24 show at the Spokane Arena

Slayer, one of the “Big Four” thrash/metal bands, along with Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax, are calling it a day, but not before they perform in Spokane one last time, Nov. 24 at the Spokane Arena.

Tickets for the show, part of the band’s farewell tour, are $39.50-$89.50 and go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through the arena box office, 720 W. Mallon Ave., all TicketsWest outlets, (800) 325-SEAT and www.ticketswest.com.

Primus, Ministry and Philip H. Anselmo and the Illegals will open the show.

The band released its latest studio album, “Repentless,” in 2015.
