Coast Hilltop Inn in Pullman has appointed Ron Warren as its general manager. Warren has nearly a decade of hospitality and sales experience, previously working as director of sales at the Coast Wenatchee Center Hotel.

Mark Makley is the new chief financial officer at Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort. He has worked in the casino industry in financial roles for more than 19 years, at companies Pinnacle Entertainment, El Dorado Resorts, Penn National Gaming and L’Auberge Du Lac Casino.

Manufacturing

Wagstaff Inc. has promoted Shellie Allen to manufacturing director. Allen worked as a manufacturing manager at Wagstaff for five years.

Senior care

Garden Plaza of Post Falls has named Smitty Wiley its executive director. Wiley has been in senior care for more than 13 years, most recently working for seven years as an executive director at Brookdale Senior Living in Seattle.

Honors

Home Furnishing News has paid tribute to business leaders by featuring them in the inaugural HFN Luminaries: 60 Over 60 Industry Greats. Among those honored is Irv Zakheim, chairman and CEO of Zak Designs in Spokane. Zakheim started Zak Designs in 1976.
