Around the remote: TV is blasting off for the anniversary of the moon landing

As the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing approaches, TV is unleashing a barrage of documentaries detailing the events of July 20, 1969. First up is “Apollo 11” on CNN tonight, which pulls from newly discovered 70mm footage and more than 11,000 hours of audio recordings. We’re pretty sure this iconic shot of astronaut Buzz Aldrin will be included, too. (NEIL A. ARMSTRONG / NASA)
