Mumford & Sons announce Aug. 9 show at the Gorge Amphitheatre

British folk-rock quartet Mumford & Sons has announced an Aug. 9 stop at the Gorge Amphitheatre as part of its “Delta” tour.

Fan pre-sale begins Thursday at 10 a.m., and general admission sales begin Friday at 10 a.m. through www.mumfordandsons.com/live.

The band released “Delta,” which features singles “Guiding Light,” “If I Say” and “Beloved,” in November.

The album debuted in the top spot on the Billboard 200, Americana/Folk Albums, Alternative Rock Albums and Rock Albums charts.
