Food giveaway scheduled for Wednesday

Free fruits and vegetables and other foods will be given away Wednesday.

The giveaway is set from noon to 2 p.m. at the Kaiser Permanente Administrative Offices at 5615 W. Sunset Highway in Spokane.

Anyone in need of assistance can recieve the produce and other perishable products. No appointments are necessary and no documentation is needed.

2nd Harvest food bank is coordinating the event and asks people to bring their own box or bag.
