The Colville Tribe’s Fish and Wildlife Department is stocking several popular northeastern Washington lakes.

Between 8,000 and 10,000 fish, varying in size from 2 to 8 pounds, were released in Rufus Woods Lake in March.

Additionally 37,000 triploid rainbow trout, averaging 2 pounds each, will be released into Rufus Woods Lake in coming weeks. North and South Twin Lakes will also be stocked with about 15,000 triploid rainbow trout and 1,5000 jumbo trout (averaging 5 to 8 pounds).
