Taxpayers deserve better

The way to fix our broken government is to limit all elective terms (president, senator, representative) to four years and then after investigating each other for that period, they would have to go out and get real jobs.

Think of the taxpayers’ money that could be saved if each of them was limited to only four years of name-calling and foot-dragging.

I am beginning to believe that these politicos never open their mouths just to breathe, and that global warming may be attributed in part or in whole to the fact that their mouths are always open in heated hatred for each other.

A wise old man (Will Rogers) once said: Why is everyone so mad at Congress? They haven’t done anything.

Term limits should also apply to our brave men in the military who are serving too many tours in the hotbed places where there is shooting and bombing going on. The president, as commander in chief, should see to it that these guys don’t have to develop the mental disorders that come with the idea that they are trapped in another governmental catch-22.

The taxpayers deserve better government than they are paying for.
