Treloar dedicated, involved

I am writing on behalf of 2019 school board candidate Katey Treloar. I support Katey in her election for School Board Director, Position 1 in Spokane Public Schools. Katey taught in the schools for eight years and has most recently been a very active and involved member of our school’s Parent Teacher Group and a classroom volunteer. I have worked directly with her while volunteering in our neighborhood elementary school.

She brings leadership, a commitment to listen, learn and act where and when needed. She is a dedicated volunteer in the classroom and in the school. Katey has spent hours learning all she can on how the SPS School Board and the district work together to combat difficult issues like budget deficits, safety, security and special education concerns.

Katey would be a very valuable and fresh set of eyes to the Spokane School Board. I encourage you to support her and vote Katey Treloar on Nov. 5.

Josephine Dix, SPS Parent Teacher Group President
