Two men on sex offender registry released in Spokane

Two sex offenders, classified as likely to reoffend, were released to supervised custody in Spokane this week.

The sex offenders were both released from McNeil Island, a commitment center in the Puget Sound that mainly houses violent sexual offenders.

Shawn D. Botner, 47, was convicted of indecent liberties, unlawful imprisonment, and attempted rape in the 1990s.

Travis C. Field, 42, was convicted of child rape and child molestation.

Both men now reside at Lincoln House, a sober living facility, located at 1200 North Lincoln Street.

They are under Department of Corrections Supervision.
