More than $15K in Liberty High band instruments stolen from the school last weekend
Several band instruments worth more than $15,000 were stolen from Liberty High School in Spangle last weekend, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.
Principal Aaron Fletcher reported the theft Monday, and deputies initiated a criminal investigation after a search didn’t turn up the instruments, according to a news release.
Investigators found pry marks on an exterior door and window at the school, and they are working to collect additional evidence, including surveillance footage, the news release said.
