Singing Gospel Music
Spokane Fall Community College is offering a new class this quarter, “Singing Gospel Music,” taught by local choir director Sharon Jones. Though Jones’ 44 students come from all walks of life, they all share a common passion for singing and the lord. Jones, the granddaughter of Mississippi sharecroppers, learned gospel songs on her grandmother’s knee and has been directing gospel choirs since she was 12-years-old.
