Most residents on Friday got to see the damage caused by the fire that raced Thursday through the Dishman Hills above Spokane Valley. Officials said 13 homes were destroyed in the fire that was pushed by high winds. Fire burned on three sides of the home owned by Misty and Tobby Rodriguez. But the couple and their children escaped harm.
